You will be a part of HPB's Healthy Ageing Programme Department, which strives to help seniors aged 60 years and over to improve and maintain their functional ability through healthy lifestyle practices and increase the quality and years of healthy life. As Singapore's healthcare and aged care systems transform under national directives such as Healthier SG and Age Well SG, HPB drives the national implementation of the Active Ageing Programme (AAP) strategy in close collaboration with Active Ageing Centres (AACs), Regional Health Systems (RHSes), and whole-of-government agencies to initiate, encourage and empower seniors to adopt and sustain healthy habits, and age well independently in the community.

[What you will be working on]

As a key member of the , you will lead the creation of new physical activity programmes addressing critical gap areas in seniors health, particularly falls prevention, while developing accessible entry-level programmes for inactive seniors.

You will work closely with clinical experts and healthcare clusters to spearhead new programme creation in National Frailty Strategy gap areas, developing robust protocols, implementation guidelines, and screening tools for at-risk seniors.

You will adapt and integrate training content to align with national standards and guidelines.

You will establish comprehensive safety protocols and conduct pilot studies to validate programme effectiveness, designing measurement tools to track participant progress and programme impact for continuous improvement.

You will ensure all programmes meet clinical excellence standards while remaining practical and scalable for community implementation across diverse settings.

[What we are looking for]

An ideal candidate will be a dynamic and self-motivated individual with at least 3 years of working experience in programme development or design. Experience within healthcare organizations, training or research institutions, or public health agencies is preferred. The candidate should also possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in public health-related domains, with relevant certifications in programme design/development, or programme evaluation is preferred.
  • Knowledge of healthy ageing, falls prevention, frailty management, and evidence-based exercise prescription would be beneficial.
  • Able to execute health programme development, pilot study implementation, and safety protocol establishment.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with ability to design measurement tools and validate programme effectiveness.
  • Results-driven with ability to translate research into practical community programmes.
  • Self-directed, comfortable with working across multi-disciplinary clinical and community environments in fast-moving situations.
