Focus, Scope, & Impact
This individual contributor role will act as the ASP OU Brand Senior Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and optimization of category marketing initiatives across assigned markets or clusters to drive business results. They partner deeply with regional and country teams to adapt, pilot, and scale programs, driving continuous improvement in execution quality, toolkit adoption, and cross-market learning.
Still Category Brands in partnership with Regional Category - Brand Director, OU/Global Category Leads, and Country Teams:
- Co-develops annual plans with Senior OU Category Lead, and Country Brand Teams in landing category/brand programs, innovation launches, and campaign toolkits for clusters/markets.
- Customizes global playbooks and integrated marketing strategies for local relevance, ensuring efficient cross-market deployment and broad system usage.
- Pilots and implements new programs, gathers activation results and feedback, and recommends refinements to global teams.
- Forges collaborative partnerships with country teams, agencies, and key stakeholders, facilitating test, learn, scale approaches across geographies.
- Synthesizes competitive intelligence and business results, supporting toolkit and system enhancement as a feedback loop to global/category teams.
- Facilitates system alignment,engaging regularly with country/OU teams, surfacing local needs, and supporting two-way knowledge flow and best practice sharing.
Experience & Critical Requirements
- 610 years in category management, shopper or commercial marketing, or similar roles in FMCG, with proven experience in cross-market/cross-functional coordination.
- Strong project management skills, comfortable leading multi-market campaign/toolkit deployments.
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize market insights and translate them into toolkit refinements or guidelines.
- Skilled at stakeholder management and cross-geography alignment.
- Possesses a continuous improvement mindset and a collaborative, agile approach.
Communication Focus
- Acts as a central connector between country and category teams, facilitating two-way flow of toolkit feedback, insights, and activation results.
- Champions adoption of global best practices, encouraging system alignment while addressing local market needs.
- Proactively communicates progress, risks, and improvement opportunities to category leadership and global partners.
