Overall Job Objectives:
Support the Executive Director and HODs in developing, implementing, and tracking STPI's strategic objectives and work plans. Actively contribute to management discussions on organisational direction, facilitate corporate planning processes, and ensure alignment of strategies with the national arts ecosystem and STPI's long-term goals.
Core Responsibilities:
Planning
- Drive annual and mid-term planning processes, including Management retreats, workplans, and mid-year reviews.
- Work with the Director (Corporate Services) to establish a structured corporate planning process (planning sessions, cascading workplans, mid-year reviews, performance reporting).
- Support ED in the formulation of strategies, work closely with HODs in translating inputs from the ED and HODs into actionable plans.
- Track implementation of identified strategies, corporate KRIs and KPIs, and ensure timely reporting.
- Keep abreast of the sectoral and national developments to ensure STPI's strategies remain relevant to the SG Arts Plan.
- Maintain close working relationships with MCCY and other key agencies for KPI reporting and to align STPI's direction with national cultural policy.
Board & Secretariat
- Oversee the Board and secretariat matters, such as Board meetings and Retreat.
- Initiate and coordinate processes for Board self and peer evaluations.
- Manage renewal process for Board appointments in line with MCCY requirements.
Others:
- Undertake projects as assigned by Executive Director and Director (Corporate Services) to support strategic priorities and organisational growth.
Job Specifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Arts and Social Sciences, or related cross disciplinary fields.
- At least 5 years of relevant working experience in corporate or strategic planning, preferably in the arts, non-profit, or public sector.
- Experience in facilitating planning processes, monitoring KPIs, and preparing management/board reports.
- Possess excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical and planning skills.
- Good attitude and positive mindset.
- Proactive, resourceful, and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
