Typical duties and responsibilities
- Lead the definition and maintenance of policies and frameworks for enterprise-wide IT Governance
- Support the CIO organization in steering governance, ensuring alignment with IT Governance principles, standards, and long-term scalability objectives
- Facilitate IT steering committees and governance boards, preparing decision making artefacts, documenting outcomes, and promoting accountability
- Assist senior risk and compliance committees on technology governance, operational resilience, outsourcing, and third-party risk
- Drive awareness and change initiatives to embed a strong governance culture across IT and business departments
- Promote continuous improvement within IT by encouraging standardization, documentation, and knowledge sharing across teams.
- Monitor and enforce adherence to governance processes across internal teams and vendors.
- Govern relationships with external IT service providers to ensure contractual compliance and service quality.
- Define and monitor KPIs for IT business unit and vendor performance
Required Skills And Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in IT governance, portfolio management, and delivery leadership roles.
- Strong knowledge of ITIL, COBIT, and agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe).
- Proven experience managing complex IT portfolios and vendor relationships.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong financial acumen, with experience in budgeting and cost
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven ability to analyze and manage risks and issues across complex IT
- Strong leadership skills and experience managing cross-functional
Nice To Have/preferred Skills And Experience
- Certification in portfolio management, such as PMP (Project Management Professional), PgMP (Program Management Professional), or similar.
- Experience managing large-scale, multi-year ITtransformation or infrastructure
- Familiarity with Enterprise Architecture frameworks and IT
- Experience with business process management (BPM) and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in IT portfolio management
- Experience with SAP, WorkDay, ManagedService and/or ServiceNow will be a bonus
