We are looking for an experienced and passionate Senior Manager, Events to lead the planning and execution of large-scale groups and events across all market segments. This role is ideal for a seasoned events professional who thrives on cross-functional collaboration, client engagement, and delivering exceptional event experiences.

About The Role

Reporting to the Director of Event Management, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of confirmed groups and events — from pre-event planning to on-the-day execution. You will act as the key liaison between event organizers and internal hotel teams, ensuring seamless coordination and service excellence throughout the event lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Event Planning & Coordination

  • Work closely with event organizers to understand requirements and provide professional planning advice
  • Conduct site inspections and planning meetings with clients and external vendors
  • Coordinate menus, food tastings, AV, floral, décor, entertainment and special event arrangements
  • Build strong client relationships to support repeat and long-term business

Group & Account Management

  • Manage room blocks, attrition, cut-off dates and rooming lists
  • Coordinate VIP arrangements, transportation and special guest requirements
  • Review and confirm group billing and forecasts with clients

Communication & Stakeholder Management

  • Prepare and issue Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and Group Resumes
  • Ensure timely and accurate communication with all internal operating departments
  • Participate in internal meetings and post-event reviews
  • Gather and share client feedback to drive continuous improvement

Administration & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with event service standards, systems and procedures
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate event data in Amadeus Delphi
  • Support ESG, hygiene, safety, fire and security standards
  • Participate in training, service excellence and corporate culture initiatives

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience managing complex groups and high-profile events, preferably in a luxury hotel or hospitality environment
  • Strong planning, communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across divisions
  • High level of professionalism, service mindset and attention to detail
  • Comfortable working with external vendors and internal operating teams
  • Familiarity with event systems (e.g. Delphi) is an advantage
