Your new role
As a senior member of the APAC Credit Risk team, you will play a critical role in managing a diversified portfolio of corporate credit exposures within a robust global risk management framework. You will be the key credit risk partner to business units across multiple APAC markets providing timely, insightful, and commercially sound analysis to support growth while upholding disciplined risk standards. In this role, you will offer effective challenge in the underwriting and adjudication process, draw on deep local market knowledge to inform risk decisions, and contribute to the implementation of global and regional credit policies. You will also drive regional stress-testing initiatives, oversee watchlist and NPL management, champion ESG and climaterelated risk efforts in APAC, and collaborate closely with senior stakeholders across the region and Head Office. This is a high visibility and high impact role suited for a seasoned credit professional who thrives in a fastpaced, multifaceted environment and is motivated by the responsibility of safeguarding the Bank's credit quality.

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role you will have:

  • A Bachelor's degree from a reputable institution; advanced qualifications such as MBA, CFA, or accounting designation are an advantage.
  • Significant credit risk or credit analyst experience in a prominent banking institution, ideally across various markets in Asia
  • Strong understanding of corporate lending, market dynamics, regulatory frameworks, and risk control environments in APAC.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage diverse internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to analyse complex credit situations, provide effective challenge, and make sound recommendations.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic, global environment while managing tight deadlines and shifting priorities.
