Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with large corporate clients, understanding their unique financial needs and providing tailored banking solutions.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering expert guidance on financial strategies, risk management, and capital market opportunities.
  • Lead the credit assessment and analysis process, evaluating the creditworthiness of clients and ensuring compliance with risk management policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including credit, operations and product specialists, to deliver seamless and comprehensive banking solutions to clients.
  • Identify and pursue business development opportunities, leveraging your network and market knowledge to expand the bank's client base and increase revenue.
  • Stay abreast of market trends, industry developments, and competitive landscape to proactively identify new business prospects and provide market insights to clients.
  • Monitor and manage the overall portfolio performance, ensuring timely risk identification and proactive measures to mitigate potential credit and operational risks.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, promptly addressing client inquiries and concerns, and maintaining high client satisfaction levels.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 to 12 years of relevant experience in corporate banking
  • Proven track record of building and managing relationships with large corporate clients, exceeding revenue targets, and delivering exceptional client experiences.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate banking products and services, including lending, cash management, trade finance, and treasury solutions.
  • Excellent credit assessment and risk management skills, with a thorough understanding of credit policies, underwriting standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong business acumen and market awareness, with the ability to identify and capitalize on business opportunities.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and influencing skills, with the ability to engage and interact effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Proactive and results-driven mindset, with the ability to work independently and drive initiatives to successful completion.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis and financial modelling techniques.
  • Professional certifications such as CFA or MBA in finance (preferred but not required).
