Lead team members in developing and executing structured financing transactions, including project finance, acquisition finance, and financing related to private equity funds.
Work closely with the client relationship team and product teams/departments to further identify clients multi-layered needs, drive comprehensive marketing and expansion of financial markets, settlement, account supervision and other full-suite banking products and services, and enhance clients overall revenue contribution to the bank.
Establish and strengthen partnerships with common market sponsors and financial institutions, serving as an important channel for the client relationship team to obtain syndicated financing opportunities. Possess the capability to underwrite and distribute syndications, and assist the client relationship team in arranging syndicate deals.
Maintain in-depth understanding of structured financing and key related sectors (including but not limited to renewable energy, infrastructure, and oil & petrochemicals). Be able to independently and proactively drive and manage complex structured projects, continuously monitor industry developments, and help the bank capture new opportunities and promote business growth.
Conduct proactive risk management for credit businesses, taking responsibility for preventing risks including credit, operational, compliance, and anti-money laundering risks. Complete post-loan management, KYC work, and perform regular or ad-hoc client visits to collect and analyze market and commercial information on industries and clients. Assess changes in clients creditworthiness to strengthen credit risk management.
Based on the department's KPI requirements, set internal team performance indicators and business development strategies, and lead the team to jointly achieve the assessment targets.
Job Requirements
Work Experience: 10 years or more structured financing experience in banking industry
Education: Bachelor's degree and above.
Sound credit and financial analysis skill, problem-solving abilities
Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills (e.g. negotiation, consultative skills)
Ability to work independently
Proficient in English and Mandarin so as to understand and write Chinese documents and effectively communicate and collaborate with Mandarin speaking colleagues from Head Office and locally.
