Roles & Responsibilities
The position is responsible for managing the Catering sales, operations, driving quality and service, and meeting revenue objectives.
- Manage all event-day and non-event-day catering, including internal company and other designated events.
- Proactive sales to increase venue and precinct activations as well as client base and revenue.
- Repurpose spaces for catering event capabilities and the sale of such spaces.
- Develop wine & spirit menu & sales strategy for catering.
- Work with the catering culinary team to improve on food offerings and F&B packages.
- Improve and update Catering sales and operations policies and SOPs.
- Manage catering equipment and furniture inventory usage, rental and upkeep.
- Manage and train catering sales team members and work closely with catering operations teams.
Requirements
- Diploma in related fields such as hotel and resort, tourism, and hospitality management (THM), event management, and degree would be an advantage.
- Minimum 5 years experience in a senior role for F&B catering sales, events, restaurant and bar.
- MICE and/or Events Management experience would be an advantage.
- Food Hygiene and Safety and related F&B products and service certification.
- Sound knowledge of F&B products, equipment, innovation, workflow, restaurant, and bar.
- Professional in-service etiquette for both B2B and B2C with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Creative, strong in administration, planning, coordination, and execution.
