Reporting To: Chief Executive Officer / Board

Role Overview

The Senior Manager / Associate Director, Engagement &Partnership will lead and drive VIVA Foundation's fundraising, donor engagement, and partnership development efforts to support the Foundation's mission and long-term sustainability.

Operating in a lean environment, this role requires a highly self‑motivated, hands-on and strategic individual who can independently develop fundraising opportunities, build meaningful stakeholder relationships, and execute fundraising initiatives end-to-end.

The role will be responsible for cultivating and managing relationships across multiple donor segments, including foundations, corporates, family offices, institutions, and individual donors. A key focus will be strengthening VIVA Foundation's fundraising capabilities, donor stewardship, partnership ecosystem, and external engagement profile in Singapore and the region.

The successful candidate should be comfortable operating both strategically and operationally - from developing fundraising strategies and engagement plans to directly managing donor meetings, proposals, campaigns, and events.

Key Responsibilities

1. Fundraising Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop and implement fundraising and engagement strategies to support VIVA Foundation's programmes, growth, and long-term sustainability.
  • Build and maintain a diversified fundraising pipeline across corporates, foundations, family offices, institutions, and individual donors
  • Identify new fundraising opportunities, partnerships, sponsorships, and donor segments
  • Establish fundraising targets, pipelines, KPIs, and forecasting frameworks in consultation with the Board
  • Monitor fundraising performance and provide regular updates, reports, and strategic recommendations
  • Support the development of sustainable giving initiatives, including regular giving programmes, donor circles, and long-term supporter engagement models

2. Donor, Partner & Stakeholder Management

  • Identify, cultivate, solicit and steward donors and supporters across multiple stakeholder segments
  • Build and manage long‑term relationships with donors, strategic partners, and community stakeholders
  • Develop tailored engagement and stewardship plans for key supporters and funding partners
  • Ensure timely donor communications, impact reporting, recognition, and relationship management
  • Represent VIVA Foundation professionally at meetings, networking events, and external engagements

3. Corporate & Strategic Partnerships

  • Develop and manage corporate partnerships, sponsorships, CSR collaborations, and strategic alliances
  • Prepare partnership proposals, sponsorship decks and engagement materials aligned with VIVA Foundation's mission and objectives
  • Manage partnership deliverables, renewals, reporting and relationship continuity.

4. Fundraising Campaigns, Events & Community Engagement

  • Conceptualise, plan and execute fundraising campaigns, donor engagement initiatives, and fundraising events end‑to‑end
  • Work with vendors, agencies, volunteers, and stakeholders to ensure successful execution of initiatives
  • Monitor campaign outcomes, ROI, donor acquisition and engagement metrics

5. Foundations, Grants & Institutional Partnership

  • Build and manage relationships with foundations, grant-making bodies, philanthropic organisations and institutional funders
  • Act as the primary contact for engaged foundations and institutional funders
  • Coordinate and oversee grant applications, proposals, submissions, and supporting documentation
  • Maintain strong stewardship and engagement with institutional funders post‑award

6. Governance, Operations & Compliance

  • Ensure fundraising activities comply with relevant regulatory, governance, and IPC requirements in Singapore
  • Maintain accurate and updated records of donors, partners, and engagement documentation
  • Support budgeting, tracking, reconciliation, and reporting for fundraising initiatives and events
  • Uphold high standards of professionalism, integrity, confidentiality and transparency in all stakeholder engagements

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, Non-Profit Management, or a relevant field
  • Mininum 8-10 years of relevant experience in fundraising, partnerships, donor engagement, business development or external relations
  • Proven track record in securing funding, sponsorships, grants, or strategic partnerships
  • Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills across diverse donor and partner segments
  • Experience engaging corporates, foundations, family offices, and institutional stakeholders preferred
  • Familiarity with Singapore's charity and IPC environment is advantageous
  • Passion for healthcare, children-related causes, and social impact
  • Resourceful, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
