Senior Logistics Engineer, Operations

We are looking for a Senior Logistics Engineer, Operations to lead engineering initiatives that support operational excellence, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to optimise processes, improve operational performance, and support the implementation of new technologies and business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the setup, validation, and optimisation of equipment, testing workflows, and operational processes.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and engineering documentation.
• Manage equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, upgrades, and lifecycle planning.
• Monitor engineering and operational performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Investigate and resolve complex technical issues, providing engineering support to operations teams.
• Drive continuous improvement projects to enhance productivity, quality, and operational efficiency.
• Support new product introductions, process transfers, new line setups, and engineering change activities.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to implement new equipment, technologies, and operational processes.
• Provide technical guidance and training to operations personnel.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Relevant engineering experience in manufacturing, logistics, automation, or high-volume operational environments.
• Experience in equipment implementation, process setup, commissioning, and optimisation.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience supporting process improvements, new product introductions, or operational projects.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication, stakeholder management, and project coordination skills.
