• Manage the full lifecycle of Redhat Linux servers, including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, OS backup and recovery, capacity planning, performance tuning,
account management, system hardening, and patching.
• Develop and enforce system security policies, schedule maintenance, and ensure regular vulnerability patches to comply with Bank and MAS policies and regulatory
audits.
• Identify root causes, collaborate with implementation teams to formulate and execute remediation plans, and provide expert guidance throughout the process.
• Work independently or as part of a leadership team, offering expert guidance to supervisors, monitoring system performance, and proactively addressing potential
issues.
• Adhere to change management procedures, ensuring thorough testing and sign-off while conducting system performance monitoring and testing.
• Generate weekly and monthly reports, communicate status updates and escalations to technical teams, manage documentation, and maintain up-to-date system
inventories and technical information.
Job Requirements
• Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business IT, or a related field, or its equivalent
• Certified in Redhat or Redhat Linux is required
• Over 8 years of hands-on technical experience in installing and administering the latest version of Redhat within a Banking or Financial Services environment
• Extensive expertise in Linux systems, including deployment, bash scripting, automation, OpenShift, high availability clusters, disk volume management, and
system partitioning
• Proficient in using automation tools such as Foreman and Ansible
• In-depth knowledge of cloud-based systems and architectures, particularly Azure Experience with system monitoring tools, including SolarWinds.
