Job Description

We are seeking skilled and dedicated Lift Technicians / Lift Specialists to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of lift systems to ensure their safe and efficient operation. This role requires technical expertise, safety knowledge, and the ability to perform tasks at heights while adhering to all relevant standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine maintenance, servicing and safety checks in accordance with regulatory standards and internal protocols.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and system faults to ensure the smooth operation of lifts.
  • Perform repairs and replacements of lift components as necessary.
  • Respond to emergency service calls, including breakdowns and malfunctions, ensuring minimal downtime for clients.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and high-quality service delivery.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior technicians, ensuring they adhere to safety and operational standards.
  • Maintain accurate digital documentation of service reports, logs, defect recommendations, and maintenance records through Apps like GOfm.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry best practices at all times.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in lift technology, like Lift Enhancements, Remote Monitoring and Diagnostic (RM&D) or Lift Predictive Maintenance System (LPMS), and IoT-driven lift maintenance.

Requirements:

  • Possess a NITEC in Built Environment (Vertical Transport) or a Certificate of Competency (CoC) in Lift Maintenance for Lift Specialists.
  • Minimum of 3 year of hands-on experience in lift maintenance, servicing, or repair.
  • Completion of safety training courses such as the Construction Safety Orientation Course (CSOC) and Work-At-Height (WAH) course.
  • Strong understanding of lift systems, troubleshooting techniques, and safety regulations.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment.
  • Good physical fitness and the ability to work at heights and handle manual tasks.
  • Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills to interact with clients, team members, and management.
  • Valid certifications as required by regulatory authorities for lift maintenance and servicing.
