Camarine is representing a highly reputable client in the LNG sector to identify a dynamic Senior / Lead Project Engineer. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting project and engineering management across EPC execution and operational phases. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on technically complex LNG projects and contribute to ongoing asset development and upgrades.
Roles & Responsibilities
The incumbent shall be responsible for, but not limited to, the following tasks:
- Provide project and engineering management support throughout EPC execution and operational phases.
- Review and monitor contractor deliverables and technical documents to ensure alignment with project scope, budget, and schedule.
- Support the project team in managing technical clarifications, design changes, and variations.
- Coordinate across consultants, EPC contractors, and internal stakeholders to resolve technical and execution challenges.
- Provide technical input to Planning & Development initiatives and ongoing plant modifications or upgrades.
- Monitor and evaluate contractor and consultant performance to ensure quality, compliance, and timely delivery.
- Stay abreast of LNG technologies and trends to support ongoing improvements in project execution or facility performance.
- Prepare periodic reports and presentations to update management on project progress, risks, and mitigation measures.
Requirements & Experience
- 6 to 15 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry with an operator, EPC firm, or engineering consultancy.
- Solid background in project engineering, project management, or front-end project development.
- Exposure to floating LNG (FLNG) facilities is a distinct advantage.
- Strong technical grounding with the ability to manage multi-disciplinary inputs and drive execution efficiency.
