Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform inspections, installation, FATs, commissioning, repair, upgrading, troubleshooting, and related service work on GustoMSC's GLC-2000-ED-SB cranes, NG-9000C jacking systems, and other similar GustoMSC offshore equipment at a software, electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical level.
- Supervise maintenance on the assigned GustoMSC equipment such as the GLC-2000-ED-SB cranes and NG-9000C jacking systems.
- Provide client support during rig moves and jacking trials involving GustoMSC equipment.
- Advise customers on the use, spare parts, maintenance, and potential updates/upgrades for GustoMSC's crane, jacking, and other offshore systems.
- Prepare work method statements and accurate, thorough reports related to servicing and maintaining GustoMSC equipment.
- Provide technical customer support from the office on GustoMSC's crane, jacking, and other offshore product lines.
- Be available for 24-hour callouts when issues arise with GustoMSC equipment.
- Carry out work on GustoMSC systems to the highest quality standards.
- Conduct pre-job meetings and toolbox talks specific to GustoMSC equipment.
- Promote a safety and quality culture around the use and maintenance of GustoMSC designs.
Skills & Experience required.
- Vocational Diploma or Certificate or Associate Degree in mechanical, hydraulic, mechatronics, or electrical engineering and/or Bachelor's Degree or University of Applied Sciences Degree in mechanical, hydraulic, mechatronics, or electrical engineering, with a focus on heavy industry or offshore equipment.
- Approximately 5-15 years of relevant work experience in maintaining and servicing GustoMSC's GLC-2000-ED-SB cranes, NG-9000C jacking systems, and other similar offshore equipment, including experience in leading a multi-disciplinary commissioning team.
- In-depth knowledge of the technical specifications, operation, and maintenance requirements of GustoMSC's crane, jacking, and other offshore product lines.
- Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade GustoMSC equipment at a software, electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical level.
- Experience in leading a multi-disciplinary commissioning team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint, for reporting and documentation related to GustoMSC equipment.
- Fluent in written and spoken English for effective communication with GustoMSC's international clients.
- Strong reporting and customer service skills to support GustoMSC's aftermarket services.
- Safety-conscious and able to follow procedures and policies specific to working on GustoMSC offshore equipment.
- Willingness to work abroad, including offshore, and be available for evening/weekend work when GustoMSC equipment requires attention.
