Job Summary
- As a Senior Sustaining Test Engineer you are expected to do test data analysis, provide testing related dispositions on Manufacturing/Production abnormalities in Final Test and Circuit/Wafer Probing.
- You will drive qualification and buy-off for test hardware and tooling, product, test program and system to be deployed for mass production.
- You will take project initiatives on test improvements, test program revision updates and releases.
- Perform test engineering experiments and studies on test hardware and tooling, products, ATE and test program.
- You will be responsible for Test Process implementation to ensure testing SOPs are strictly followed.
- You will document test process SOPs and revise the current practices if improvements are needed.
- You will provide expertise on knowledge of SiTime products, test HW and test programs to OSAT.
Responsibilities:
- Provide solutions and dispositions to test abnormalities in a manufacturing/production environment.
- Plan and execute qualification and buy-off for new and mature products, test hardware and tooling, ATE System, test programs and other testing related coverage.
- Provide test data analysis and documented reports on buy-off and qualification.
- Provide remote and online debug for test hardware and tooling, products, test program, and system issues.
- Gain product transfer knowledge on testing and test process from cross functional team.
- Continuous line support for all production released SiTime products in addressing testing factor abnormalities, project improvement and including testing deployment activities of new products for production.
- Support NPI to mass production release testing activities.
- Ensure OSAT testing for Final Test and Circuit/Wafer Probing is free from issues that could cause line-downs or output delays.
- Interface with internal cross-functional team and OSAT personnel.
- Develop and refine test processes for Circuit/Wafer Probing and Final Test.
- Provide test process improvements where necessary.
- Create and maintain test process documentation, including SOPs, control plans, and troubleshooting guides.
- Travel locally or internationally to support work-related activities as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree or above in Engineering, Computer, Electrical, Industrial or any related field.
- Hands-on experience with Prober and ATE.
- Experience with Final Test and/or Wafer Sort/Circuit Probing.
- Hands-on experience of doing production line sustaining for Final Test or Circuit Probe/Wafer Sort in a Product Test Engineer or Test Engineer capacity.
- Hands-on experience with ETS-88, ETS-364 or any other commercial testers (LTX, Advantest, uFlex, iFlex etc.).
- Familiar with or knowledgeable in C++ or Python programming languages.
- Experience with setting up and verification of testing hardware e.g. Probe Card, Load Board, Circuit Interface board.
- Good background in test methodologies, test flows and schematics.
- English communication proficiency is needed.
- Preferred industry related work experience: 5-15 years or more.
- Familiarity with SPC, FMEA, and Lean Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
