Senior Landscape Technician

Role Overview

The Senior Landscape Technician takes ownership of both operational execution and client-facing responsibilities.This role bridges preparation, project management, and basic sales functions, ensuring smooth delivery from planning to installation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Planning & Execution

. Oversee preparation of job materials and ensure readiness for all projects

. Review and organise prep lists fromLandscape and Events teams

. Ensure efficient workflow across nursery and site operations

2. Mock-Up & Design Execution

. Create and refine plant mock-ups based on project requirements

. Ensure designs are executed accurately and aligned with company standards

. Guide junior staff in mock-up and preparation processes

3. Sourcing & Logistics

. Source plants and materials independently to fulfil project needs

. Manage supplier relationships and ensure quality selection

. Plan logistics, delivery, and material coordination

4. Client-Facing Responsibilities

. Conduct site visits and basic consultations

. Assist in preparing quotations and project proposals

. Support sales process through technical input and recommendations

5. On-Site Leadership

. Lead installation teams on-site when required

. Ensure quality, safety, and efficiency during project execution

. Troubleshoot issues and make decisions on-site

Requirements

. Prior experience in landscaping, horticulture, or related field preferred

. Strong sense of responsibility and ownership

. Able to manage both operational and client-facing tasks

. Good communication and coordination skills

. Preferably able to drive (Class 3/3A licence)
