Senior Laboratory Technician

Job Description

• Operate, trouble-shoot and maintain our lab equipment such as ICP OES, Auto-Titrators, Particle Size Analyzer, density meter, pH meters etc
• Cleaning and maintaining lab equipment, including calibration of equipment
• Maintaining equipment records and daily work logs
• Organizing and storing samples in accordance with all safety and other requirements to ensure the safety of personnel and integrity of the sample
• Documentation of lab equipment, testing methods and results for regulatory and quality compliance
• Manage general administration of the lab which includes purchasing of lab equipment, chemicals and apparatus
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all employees working in the laboratory
• Conduct training/mentoring to interns
• Any other duties as assigned by the superior

Job Requirements

• Diploma in Chemical Process Technology
• Experience in operating ICP will have added advantage
• At least 3 years of experience working in the Laboratory environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel for daily tasks
