Senior Java Full Stack with React Developer

About the Role

To support enterprise application development and enhancement activities for a financial services project, covering backend microservices, frontend applications, API development, integration and cloud-native deployment.

The role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise applications across backend microservices, frontend applications, APIs, integrations, and cloud-native deployments within a financial services environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop and enhance scalable Microservices-based applications and REST APIs.
• Develop responsive frontend applications using Angular and React.
• Work with HTML, CSS and JavaScript/TypeScript for frontend development.
• Develop and support Micro Frontends (MFE) architecture where applicable.
• Integrate frontend applications with backend Microservices and REST APIs.
• Work with Docker and Kubernetes for containerisation and deployment.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Git.
• Work with Kafka for event-driven integration and asynchronous communication.
• Work with MySQL, PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Deploy and support applications on AWS and Azure.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, troubleshooting and production support.
• Participate in Agile development, code reviews, technical discussions and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of working experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in Java development.
• Strong experience with Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
• Strong experience in REST API development and integration.
• Strong experience with React.
• Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience with Micro Frontends (MFE).
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Jenkins and Git and CI/CD practices.
• Experience with Kafka and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Good experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms.
• Strong understanding of enterprise application development and SDLC.
• Ability to work effectively in an Agile development environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Node.js, Express.js or NestJS.
• Experience with GraphQL, Redux or Vue.js.
• Experience in financial services / banking projects.
• Experience with cloud-native application development and DevOps practices.
