JOB SUMMARY:
Our Client is looking for aSenior IT Manager that will play a pivotal role in leading the SAP Center of Excellence, spearheading strategic initiatives, upholding best practices, and nurturing a culture of continuous improvement. This individual is responsible for managing cross-functional teams, collaborating with stakeholders, and optimizing SAP solutions to maximize business value and enhance user experience, while actively contributing to Panasonic's Transformation initiatives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. SAP Solution Design & Implementation
Engage stakeholders to capture business requirements.
Translate business requirements into comprehensive SAP solution designs.
Collaborate with internal teams to develop system integration plans.
Work with internal teams to actualize the proposed designs.
2. Template Governance
Assume overall responsibility for SAP template.
Ensure changes to the SAP system undergo review and approval based on established processes, minimizing negative impacts on business operations.
Ensuring all COE support activities are performed efficiently and effectively within established policies and procedures.
Review and approve project milestones and deliverables from the project team (fit/gap analysis, blueprint, functional specifications, configuration, transport requests, data migration plans, cut-over plans, etc.).
Identify opportunities for improvement and standardization in business processes.
3. Team Management
Manage Profit Center P&L and budget planning.
Motivate and coach team members to foster growth and development.
Oversee resource management and performance appraisals.
Handle escalations and task prioritization efficiently.
4. Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
Degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field
At least 5 years of team management experience in a regional capacity, ideally within consulting / SI environment.
Possess in-depth technical and functional knowledge of SAP in the manufacturing domain, with knowledge in the field service and/or asset management domain a plus point.
Proven experience in a Solution Architect or Center of Excellence role.
Have 3-5 SAP full Cycle S/4HANA PCE and GROW implementation experience.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Resilient and results-driven, with the ability to thrive and drive change in a fast-paced environment.
A self-starter who demonstrates initiative, ownership, and leadership qualities.
Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to present concisely and effectively to senior management.
Good proficiency in PowerPoint pictorial presentations is mandatory.
Willing to (business) travel, depending on projects primarily within the Asia Pacific region. The travel frequency is expected to be up to 30%.
