The Senior Global Assurance Analyst - Supply Chain (SGAA - SC) will contribute in assessing the design, effectiveness and efficiency of processes within VF's Global Supply Chain and deliver useful insights and action plans for improvement of our brands and functions. This will span management areas such as:
- Strategic Planning;
- Demand Forecasting;
- Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP);
- Production Planning;
- Materials Management;
- Product Quality;
- Sourcing;
- Distribution;
- Logistics;
- Order Management;
- Direct-to-Consumer/Retail Management; and
- Information Systems (e.g., Logility, i2, SAP, NGC, PKMS, etc.).
Even though the focus is on supply chain, the senior associate would be expected to join projects non product supply driven based on the annual audit plan and the department needs.
Experience / Education / Skills:
- 2 to 5 years of experience preferred in any of the following Supply Chain areas, or has consulted for the following Supply Chain areas: Demand Forecasting, Production Planning, Sourcing or COE (Center of Excellence).
- Bachelor's degree in either Engineering or Supply Chain Management preferred but not required.
- Certification is a plus: APICS – Certified Supply Chain Professional or CPIM, Six Sigma Certification (or expected to obtain within two years of employment).
- Strong verbal and written English skills, additional Asian languages skill is a plus.
- Proficient skills with Microsoft Office programs, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong project management and analytical skills applied in up-tempo setting.
- Ability to build relationships and offer compelling ideas/insights to a diverse population of VF associates, including executive/senior management.
- Experience with or interest in data analysis and/or data visualization tools such as Tableau or Microsoft Power BI is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational and time management skills.
- Professional, flexible approach taken in handling multiple priorities.
- Strong leadership traits and resourcefulness.
- Ability to work well independently and in a team, with limited supervision.
- Annual travel of approximately 30-50% (not limited to, but mostly major cities in Southeast Asia and satellite product supply offices in greater China).
- Must be located in Singapore.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead or assist in high quality internal audits, in accordance with VF Global Assurance Standards, on a timely and effective basis. These audits are expected to be 80% operational related (Supply Chain mainly) and 20% finance/brand management or IT related. Audit targets include both internal business unit and external key business partners
- Delivery of high impact reviews of aspects of the business to executive/senior supply chain management
- Assist VF associates in formulation of adequate action plans for timely remediation of internal control deficiencies identified on assigned internal audits
- Produce audit or risk advisory reports in English of high quality in terms of clarity, language and accuracy of facts, in accordance with VF Global Assurance Report Preparation Standards
- Assist heavily to enhance Asian Hub Supply Chain capability and knowledge with rapid absorption of complex subject matter and delivery of insights
- Frequent interactions required with executive/senior management ranks of VF, being fluid and adapt to changes rapidly
- Support Director and Manager in the risk assessment and Audit Service Plan definition
- Suggest and lead as Subject Matter Expert audit methodology upgrade processes
