Job Responsibilities:
To conduct detail study and prepare layout plan and report on production lines to be modified or automated for quality, productivity and cost improvement.
To generate requirements for new automated equipment or improvements of existing handling equipment.
Assist the superior and project leader to obtain competitive quotations for budget submission and approval.
To coordinate project activities with operational personnel, supervise sub-contractors and vendors to ensure schedule milestone are met and within budget.
Have to work closely with cross functional teams to provide innovative engineering solutions for continues productivity and process improvements.
Assist project leader to prepare timely and accurate project documentation and reporting to keep management and team members updated.
Any other duties as and when assigned.
Job Requirements:
Minimum Degree or Diploma in Mechatronics / Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 1-2 years of working experience in project execution related to engineering, automation, building or process industry.
Knowledge of Programmable Logic Control (PLC)
Able to read and interpret technical drawings, equipment manuals, etc.
Knowledge of AutoCAD drafting skills will be an added advantage.
Team player with strong interpersonal communication skills
Proficient in MS Office applications.
