Design Review Lead HVAC system design reviews to ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory guidelines. Provide technical input on load calculations, duct design, and equipment selection. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless system integration.
Construction & Installation Oversight Supervise and manage HVAC system installations in line with design documents, standards, and project timelines. Coordinate with construction teams on the installation of air handling units, cooling towers, chillers, and ductwork. Ensure all installations meet health, safety, and quality requirements.
Commissioning & Qualification (C&Q) Oversee HVAC system commissioning, testing, and validation per client and regulatory requirements. Perform functional testing, balancing, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance. Prepare and review C&Q documentation, including protocols, reports, and corrective actions.
Technical Support & Analysis Provide technical analysis on HVAC system performance, energy efficiency, and optimization. Conduct air/water balance studies, pressure drop calculations, and thermal performance reviews. Evaluate equipment data and load calculations to align with project requirements.
Project Management & Coordination Manage multiple HVAC projects from initiation to handover, ensuring delivery on time and within budget. Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams to drive smooth project execution. Monitor progress, risks, and deliverables, providing regular status updates.
Compliance & Quality Assurance Ensure systems comply with local building codes, environmental regulations, and industry standards (e.g., ASHRAE, SMACNA). Conduct site inspections to verify design adherence and identify improvement opportunities.
