Job Description

Our client is a growing F&B chain in Singapore with multiple outlets. They are looking for a Senior HR Specialist to oversee end-to-end HR operations, support outlet expansion, and partner closely with operations leaders to drive workforce planning, employee engagement, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle

  • Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding
  • Prepare employment contracts, confirmation letters, transfers and exit documentation
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS
  • Administer probation reviews and contract renewals
  • Handle HR queries from outlet managers and employees

Payroll & Benefits Administration

  • Support monthly payroll preparation and validation
  • Verify attendance, overtime, and shift allowances
  • Administer leave management and benefits
  • Coordinate with payroll vendor (if outsourced)
  • Ensure accurate statutory submissions and deductions

Employee Relations

  • Handle disciplinary matters, grievances and investigations
  • Support performance management and counselling sessions
  • Advise line managers on employee issues
  • Manage termination and exit processes
  • Support employee engagement initiatives across outlets

HR Compliance & Work Pass

  • Ensure compliance with Singapore Employment Act and MOM regulations
  • Manage work pass administration (Work Permit, S Pass, EP)
  • Liaise with MOM and external vendors where required
  • Maintain proper HR documentation for audits
  • Update HR policies and employee handbook

HR Administration

  • Monitor headcount and manpower reports
  • Prepare HR reports (turnover, absenteeism, overtime)
  • Support onboarding and orientation programs
  • Coordinate training and mandatory certifications (e.g. food hygiene)

Requirements:

Diploma or Degree in Human Resources or related field with 5–8 years of HR generalist experience, preferably in F&B. Strong knowledge of Singapore employment laws and MOM regulations, with hands-on experience supporting frontline, shift-based workforce. Exposure to work pass administration and payroll is advantageous. Candidates should be hands-on, detail-oriented, and able to manage employee relations in a fast-paced, multi-outlet environment.
