We are a growing asset management company managing our own suite of investment strategies across equity, fixed income, and alternative solutions. We work primarily with distribution partners, including insurers, investment platforms, and financial advisory networks.
We are seeking a Senior Operations Executive to strengthen our fund operations capabilities and ensure that our operational infrastructure, trade-cycle processes, and investor servicing requirements are delivered with the highest level of accuracy, timeliness, and control.
This role requires an individual who understands that operational actions have amplified downstream impacts at the platform level, where a single error can affect thousands of underlying policyholders or end-clients. The ideal candidate must think beyond per-order processing and adopt an institutional, scalable workflow mindset.

WE WILL EXPECT YOU TO:
Fund Operations & Transaction Processing
- Oversee and process subscriptions, redemptions, switches, and transfers across multiple funds and share classes based on relevant dealing cycles.
- Coordinate closely with distribution partners (insurers, ILP platforms, investment platforms) to ensure accurate order intake, cut-off compliance, pricing, and settlement.
- Manage platform-level volume coordination to avoid discrepancies in NAV application and settlement timelines.
- Maintain and enhance SOPs for handling high-volume, platform-driven order flows.
Investor Onboarding & Partner Due Diligence
- Facilitate onboarding of insurance partners, and platform distributors.
- Coordinate KYC, AML, onboarding documentation, account setup, fee arrangements, and operational flows.
- Liaise with fund admin, custodians, and distributors to ensure seamless onboarding and integration.
Trade Cycle & Settlement Support
- Support the trade lifecycle including trade capture, trade matching, settlement monitoring, and break resolution.
- Work closely with PMs, traders, custodians to ensure timely and accurate trade execution flow.
- Investigate and resolve settlement exceptions, reconciliation issues, and breaks impacting cash or positions.
Cash, Position & Reconciliation Controls
- Perform and oversee daily cash reconciliation, position reconciliation, and shareholder register reviews against fund administrators, custodians, and trading systems.
- Manage break investigations and work with external service providers for resolution.
- Ensure accurate recording of fees, expenses, income distributions, and corporate actions.
Shadow NAV & Valuation Support
- Produce shadow NAV calculations or independent reasonableness checks to validate fund administrators NAV.
- Review pricing, accruals, FX rates, valuation adjustments, and corporate action treatment.
- Escalate discrepancies promptly to internal stakeholders and fund administrators.
Reporting & Data Accuracy
- Prepare and review investor statements, fund factsheets data inputs, portfolio data files, and internal reporting.
- Ensure timely delivery of reporting packages to insurers, platforms, distribution partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Support audit requests, MAS reporting, compliance reporting, and internal risk reviews.
Platform-Level Operational Readiness
- Understand the broader operational implications of insurer/ILP/platform-level processing:
- batch orders;
- platform-level allocations;
- price dissemination;
- retrocession models;
- cut-off harmonisation;
- downstream communications; etc
- Proactively identify improvements in operational workflows to support scalability as fund adoption grows.
Regulatory & Governance Support
- Ensure operational activities comply with MAS regulations, AML requirements, and internal controls.
- Support internal and external audits, operational risk assessments, and compliance testing.
- Maintain robust audit trail and uphold high operational governance standards.
WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE
- 47+ years of fund operations or asset management operations experience.
- Strong understanding of fund admin workflows, trade cycles, cash/position reconciliation, NAV processes, and distributor operational models.
- Experience working with insurers, ILP platforms, fund distributors, or transfer agencies is highly desirable.
- Proficiency with order management systems, fund accounting systems, and custody workflows.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to resolve breaks and interpret NAV/investor-level data.Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Information Systems.
- Proficiency in Python, VBA, SQL, or other relevant automation tools is mandatory.
