About the Role
Join our client, a well-established global investment firm with a strong focus on real estate and logistics assets. The Singapore office plays a key role in managing private investment vehicles and supporting international finance operations
We are seeking a meticulous and driven Senior Fund Accountant to support the financial management and reporting requirements of investment entities across multiple jurisdictions. This role offers broad exposure to private equity structures, fund-level accounting, and cross-border compliance in a dynamic and professional environment
Key Responsibilities
Fund Accounting & Financial Reporting
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports in accordance with US GAAP, IFRS, and SFRS
- Maintain accurate accounting records, reconciliations, and supporting schedules
- Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial statements and investor reporting packages.
Treasury & Cash Management
- Manage cash balances, payments, funding, and bank account administration across legal entities
- Support loan and debt servicing activities, including compliance monitoring and covenant tracking
Tax & Regulatory Compliance
- Coordinate with internal and external tax teams to ensure timely and accurate submission of GST and corporate tax filings
- Support local and US tax reporting requirements
- Assist with audit preparation and ensure timely statutory submissions
Team Oversight & Process Improvement
- Supervise and review work performed by Finance Executives, ensuring quality and accuracy
- Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reporting standards
- Participate in ad hoc finance projects and cross-functional initiatives
Requirements
Education & Professional Qualifications
- Degree in Accountancy or equivalent
- CPA / ACCA / CA qualification is required
Experience
- At least 5 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally with exposure to fund management, real estate, or private equity
- Prior audit experience and experience supervising junior staff is advantageous
Skills & Competencies
- Proficient in SFRS and IFRS, with working knowledge of US GAAP
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with accounting systems (e.g. Xero, Yardi) preferred
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and time management
- Effective communicator with the ability to work across departments and meet deadlines
