Our client - a well-known Assets Management house is looking for Senior Manager, Accounting & Finance.
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Manager, Accounting & Finance to lead the financial operations of the company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the full set of accounts, budgeting, forecasting, consolidation, and ensuring statutory and internal compliance. The role also includes providing strategic financial reporting and participating in system implementation projects.
Experience in handling multiple asset classes (Equities, Fixed Income, and Private Equity), and exposure to venture capital or startup investment structures is highly advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the full set of accounts for the organization.
- Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis process to support strategic decision-making.
- Handle financial consolidation for multiple entities and ensure accuracy and timeliness of reports.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and internal financial requirements, including GST, WHT, CIT, and other relevant tax filings.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Work closely with external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory bodies.
- Ensure adherence to financial and regulatory standards, and support internal controls and risk management practices.
- Provide strategic financial reporting & analysis to the senior leadership team.
- Drive or support finance-related system implementation or upgrades as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on finance-related projects.
- Stay updated with the latest accounting standards, regulatory changes, and tax laws.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent professional certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 810 years of relevant experience, with 3 years of supervisory or managerial experience.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, tax compliance, and consolidation processes.
- Experience in multiple asset classes, including Equities, Fixed Income, and Private Equity, is a plus.
- Exposure to venture capital and startup investment structures is a strong advantage.
- Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
