About the role:
Our client is looking for a CPA / CA-qualified finance professional to take ownership of group-level accounting, systems, and process optimization within a dynamic, multinational environment. This role is highly hands-on and strategic, involving close collaboration with senior management, offshore finance teams, and cross-functional stakeholders across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- CPA / CA qualified with 8+ years experience, including at least 5 years in commercial finance roles outside of audit.
- Strong background in group-level accounting for multinationals, including consolidations and financial statement preparation.
- Proven expertise in accounting systems implementation, process migration to offshore/shared service teams, and governance oversight.
- Demonstrated ability to design scalable accounting frameworks, streamline reporting, and optimize charts of accounts and workflows.
- Advanced Excel and analytical skills Power BI or data visualization tools preferred strong communication and stakeholder management essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the accounting framework for Singapore-based entities, including system implementation and migration of records.
- Oversee and collaborate with offshore accounting teams on bookkeeping, consolidations, and statutory reporting.
- Streamline financial and management reporting processes to enhance group-wide transparency and decision-making.
- Partner with FP&A and regional finance teams to align accounting systems with business needs and share best practices.
- Manage finance operations (cash/FX, tax compliance, investor capital calls/distributions) and support strategic transactions such as M&A and restructurings.
