Our client, a leading player in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Senior Finance Manager to take ownership of financial reporting and management accounting across their contract manufacturing sites and centralized supply chain operations. This is a highly visible role that will partner closely with regional teams and China manufacturing sites, driving financial performance, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close and reporting processes.
- Manage management accounting activities, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of financial and operational results.
- Analyze business performance, highlighting key trends, risks, and areas of concern while providing recommendations for improvement.
- Partner with regional teams and China manufacturing sites to ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance in financial reporting.
- Act as a principal finance partner for contract manufacturing sites and supply chain centralization initiatives.
- Support strategic projects, cost optimization, and process improvement across the supply chain and manufacturing network.
- Drive strong governance, controls, and adherence to group reporting standards.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline professional qualifications (CPA, ACCA, CIMA) strongly preferred.
- 8+ years of relevant experience in finance and accounting, with at least 3-4 years in a managerial role.
- Strong background in manufacturing, supply chain, or contract manufacturing environments.
- Proven expertise in financial close, management accounting, and reporting processes.
- Solid analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial and operational data, identify gaps, and recommend improvements.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across regional and site-level teams, including China operations.
- Proficiency in ERP and reporting systems advanced Excel and BI tools preferred.
