Senior Finance Executive

The Role

Your responsibilities will include preparing accurate and timely financial statements monthly and having a good understanding of SFRS (I), IFRS and compliance requirements with relevant regulatory authorities.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review, co-ordinate and be responsible for the full set of accounts.
• Perform month-end account closing activities and cashflow monitoring and reconciliations.
• Ensure timely financial & monthly management reporting.
• Prepare quarterly GST and income tax returns for filing on a timely basis.
• Prepare MAS Quarterly Reports and other regulatory filings.
• Prepare relevant audit schedules and liaise with the auditor for financial audits for the statutory filing.
• Support business process workflow and enhancement of system implementation.
• Other ad hoc assignments.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accountancy or finance from a good university, ACCA or equivalent.
• 3 5 years of relevant experience in a commercial outfit preferred.
• Experience in reviewing and preparing general ledger and financial statements.
• Experience in venture capital, private equity environment or asset management space is preferred.
• Those with knowledge of consolidation or have worked with SAP Business One would be advantageous.
• Strong in Microsoft Excel skills.
• An individual with strong analytical, problem-solving skills who is driven to meet deadlines.
• Positive working attitude with strong initiatives and a team player who is able to manage individual responsibilities.
• A self-starter who is able to work autonomously.
• Good written and oral communication skills in English.
