About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and resourceful Senior Executive, Student Talent Attraction and Development to support the University's STAND Committee. The role involves working closely with senior leadership to plan and implement initiatives that enhance undergraduate student talent development, leadership skills, and interdisciplinary collaborations.
Key Responsibilities
Student Talent Development Programmes
- Support the effective management of talent development programmes for undergraduate students.
- Work with colleges, schools, offices, and vendors to coordinate training sessions, workshops, and mentoring initiatives.
- Assist in tracking and evaluating programme effectiveness.
Talent Scholarship Applications
- Support the development of marketing and promotional materials for scholarships.
- Assist in managing scholarship application and selection processes.
- Maintain engagement with scholarship recipients and provide administrative support throughout their educational journey.
- Keep accurate records of scholarship recipients and programme outcomes.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders (e.g., senior management, faculty, and department heads) to ensure alignment of initiatives with institutional goals.
- Collaborate with external partners such as educational institutions, industry experts, and sponsors to support student programmes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Humanities, Communications, or related disciplines from a recognised university.
- At least 2 years of experience supporting or managing talent/leadership programmes, scholarships, or large-scale student initiatives.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and comfortable with IT systems.
- Able to work independently as well as in cross-functional teams.
