[Contract Position]
Job Description:
You will be responsible for managing the organisation's procurement activities in accordance with established policies, regulatory requirements, and Chartered Institute of Procurement and supply (CIPS) best-practice standards, working closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to deliver ethical, transparent, cost-effective, and timely outcomes.
Responsibilities:
. Manage end-to-end procurement activities, including Approval of Requisitions (AOR), sourcing of quotations, and tender exercises, in accordance with the established procurement policies and regulatory requirements.
. Administer procurement-related contracts and vendor engagements, including vendor registration, maintenance of vendor records, documentation, and ongoing communications.
. Ensure all procurement processes are conducted in a fair, transparent, and compliant manner, with complete documentation and proper audit trails.
. Provide assistance to departments, including guidance on Procurement related policies, procedures, governance requirements, sourcing approaches, specifications, evaluation criteria, and documentation.
. Support procurement systems administration, data analytics, reporting, and initiatives related to process improvements, digitalisation, and robotic process automation (RPA).
. Contribute to procurement-related projects and organisational initiatives and undertake other duties as assigned by the reporting officer.
Requirements:
. Diploma or Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
. Professional certifications such as Chartered Institute of Procurement and supply (CIPS) or equivalent procurement qualifications will be an advantage.
. Minimum 3-5 years of relevant procurement or purchasing experience, preferably in a regulated or service‑based organization.
. Good understanding of procurement governance, policies, contract administration, and vendor management.
. Familiarity with relevant procurement regulations, compliance requirements, and internal controls.
. Effective communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to prepare clear procurement documentation and reports.
. Highly organised and detail-oriented, with strong analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple procurement activities independently and effectively.
. Participate in Divisional and SINDA-wide events when required.
