The Senior Executive (Photographer) is responsible for producing high quality photography and visual assets on food and merchandise across Universal Studios Singapore (USS), Singapore Oceanarium (SGO), and Adventure Cove Waterpark (ACW). The role supports marketing efforts, menu revamps, campaigns, and commercial priorities while working closely with operational teams in a dynamic environment. The role requires strong technical photography skills, creative judgment, and the ability to execute shoots efficiently without disrupting operations.
Responsibilities:
Photography & Content Creation:
- Execute food, merchandise, lifestyle, and environmental photography for menus, marketing campaigns, digital platforms, and internal usage.
- Execute food and merchandise shoots with a clear focus on presentation, accuracy, and brand alignment.
- Produce visual assets for seasonal campaigns, activations, events, and promotions.
- Adapt a range of photography styles to suit mid‑range and premium product positioning.
Shoot Planning & Execution:
- Plan and coordinate shoots with different stakeholders such as from Attractions & Destination Experience, Hospitality and Resort Sales & Marketing.
- Manage on‑site shoot logistics including timing, locations, props, and workflow.
- Conduct shoots in accordance with safety, hygiene, and operational requirements.
Post‑Production & Asset Management:
- Edit images including selection, retouching, color correction, and formatting.
- Deliver final assets in required specifications for digital, print, and menu applications.
- Maintain and manage a centralized image library with proper naming conventions and version control.
Brand & Quality Control:
- Ensure all visual output for the attractions (USS, SGO and ACW) consistently meets RWS brand guidelines, standards and quality expectations.
- Ensure visuals for food photography reflect hygiene and compliance with national regulatory food safety standards.
Cross‑Functional Support:
- Collaborate closely with various teams such as Marketing Communications, Culinary, Merchandising, Retail and Creatives.
- Support menu revamp initiatives with new and optimized visuals.
- Provide creative input to enhance visual storytelling and campaign effectiveness.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Communications, Digital Media or any other relevant discipline.
- Minimally 3 years of professional photography experience.
- A portfolio in shoots related to food products, retail, lifestyle, or hospitality is strongly preferred.
- Strong hands‑on skills in photography, from concept to post-production, and in handling professional camera equipment and lighting setups.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom, After Effects, etc.) or equivalent tools.
- Strong organizational and workflow management skills; able to handle multiple projects and shoots across locations against a given timeline.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience managing stakeholders and creative teams.
- Strong understanding of image requirements for digital, print, and large‑format outputs.
- Strong attention to detail and visual composition.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
