Role Summary And Impact

We are seeking a Senior Executive, Content Planning to lead and support the development and execution of strategic content, social and influencer marketing initiatives for WPP Media Singapore's key clients.

This role will be instrumental in leveraging WPP Media's extensive resources to create innovative, data-fuelled content solutions that deliver measurable results, build brand equity, and support the growth of our clients digital businesses.

The ideal candidate will be a highly organised, self-motivated professional who is looking to deepen their expertise in content and influencer marketing, working closely with leading brands to deliver engaging and effective campaigns.

Skills And Experience

Strategic Content, Social & Influencer Planning

  • Lead the development of comprehensive content-first marketing strategies ensuring alignment with overall marketing goals and further develop our unique agency solutions through building key direct partnerships.
  • Research and provide detailed analysis of market trends, competitive content landscapes, partner and platform capabilities, and effectively apply this in-depth knowledge using WPP Media's proprietary analytics tools, to build strategic content-first plans for key clients.
  • Lead in developing detailed campaign plans, including strategic phasing, budget allocation, and setting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Contribute to the identification and integration of new planning methodologies, platforms, and innovative content approaches within the Singapore and regional markets.

Client Relationship & Account Management Support

  • Act as a primary point of contact for clients, presenting strategies, plans, and performance reviews with confidence and clarity.
  • Build and foster strong, collaborative relationships with key internal, media and client stakeholders, ensuring evolving needs of campaigns and executions are met and expectations exceeded.
  • Lead regular Work-in-Progress (WIP) meetings and strategic discussions with internal agency stakeholders and clients, fostering transparent communication and mutual trust.
  • Ensure client satisfaction by consistently delivering high-quality outputs and strategic counsel.

Commercial Management Support

  • Manage campaign budgets meticulously, ensuring efficient spend, adherence to financial guidelines, and accurate forecasting to prevent overspends.
  • Determine the cost and value for various content, social and influencer projects, providing strategic recommendations for investment.
  • Collaborate closely with media teams and clients and actively participate in negotiations with KOLs/influencers and content partners to secure optimal value and pricing.
  • Ensure accurate and timely tracking of budget spend, providing regular updates to relevant stakeholders.

What You Will Need

  • Experience: Minimum 2-4 years of relevant working experience in advertising, media, PR, social media, or influencer marketing agencies, with demonstrable experience in content strategy or execution.
  • Digital Expertise: Possess working knowledge of the digital marketing ecosystem, content creation processes, and the influencer landscape, in Singapore and APAC markets. A strong understanding of social platforms with hands-on experience using TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Lemon8, Telegram, XiaoHongShu, and YouTube is a plus.
  • Communication & Personal Skills: Ability to present, lead conversations and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Collaborative and a highly organised individual who has a good grasp on time-management and task prioritisation. Ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency Level: Strong analytical skills and proficiency in turning data into clear, actionable insights. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and the ability to learn and adopt different tools (incl. AI tool features), for efficient work. Experience in Salesforce, Meta Business Suite and TikTok Creator Studio is a plus.
