About the Role

Donors, partners, and volunteers play a critical role in advancing AWWA's mission. With more than 25 services across the organisation, this role provides a unique opportunity to integrate relationship management, strategic communications, and partnership development to support programmes in early childhood education, disability support, family strengthening, senior services, and community inclusion.

The Senior Executive acts as a key relationship manager for donors and stakeholders within their portfolio. The incumbent proactively identifies, cultivates, and stewards supporters, develops engagement opportunities, and drives sustainable community support. The role requires strong stakeholder management, strategic planning, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams to meet organisational fundraising priorities.

Responsibilities

1. Fundraising Strategy & Planning

  • Support/Develop and execute an annual fundraising plan aligned with AWWA's strategic goals and organisational priorities.

  • Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward donors across corporate, foundation, and individual segments.

  • Manage a portfolio of prospects and existing donors, matching their giving interests with programme needs.

  • Apply data insights to analyse trends, optimise donor journeys, and enhance long-term fundraising outcomes.

2. Donor & Partner Engagement

  • Build, strengthen, and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, donors, and partners.

  • Prepare compelling proposals, impact reports, stewardship updates, and donor decks.

  • Deliver timely and meaningful donor engagement touchpoints to deepen financial and non-financial support.

  • Coordinate across AWWA services to craft integrated, multi-service value propositions for donors.

3. Campaigns & Events

  • Conceptualise and lead fundraising campaigns and giving initiatives (e.g. Giving.sg.).

  • Collaborate with the Corporate Communications team to develop compelling narratives and digital content.

  • Ensure timely post-campaign evaluation, data reporting, and ROI analysis.

4. Volunteer & Donor Engagement (CSR Focus)

  • Develop and implement strategies to engage corporate partners and donors through meaningful CSR activities that align with organisational goals.

  • Foster a positive and professional experience for donors participating in CSR initiatives by providing regular communication, recognition touchpoints, and opportunities for feedback and deeper involvement.

  • Manage and coordinate CSR volunteers for events and programmes, ensuring adequate support, smooth execution, and strong partner satisfaction.

  • Build relationships with CSR participants and corporate partners to identify pathways for sustained engagement, with the aim of converting CSR donors into long-term financial supporters.

5. Governance & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with the Charities Act, PDPA, Commissioner of Charities guidelines, and internal governance policies.

  • Oversee accurate and timely record-keeping, reporting, and audit documentation for all fundraising activities.

  • Maintain high data integrity within donor management systems.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, Non-Profit Management, or related field.
  • Senior Executive: 3-5 years of relevant experience in fundraising, partnerships, or stakeholder management.
  • Proven track record in securing gifts, sponsorships, or grant funding.
  • Strong communication, storytelling, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage diverse relationships and stakeholders across sectors.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with donor databases/CRM systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and uphold high professional integrity.
  • Passion for social impact and commitment to AWWA's mission.
  • Experience across the government, corporate, or non-profit sectors will be an advantage.
