Senior Executive/Assistant Manager, Product Owner (Chorus Core) (Global HQ)

Roles and Responsibilities

• Partner with the Product Lead and stakeholders to align the product roadmap with overall business strategy, translating technical insights and business intent into actionable product opportunities.
• Treat requirements as hypotheses to validate through research, data analysis, and experimentation (e.g., proofs of concept), ensuring solutions are feasible, cost-effective, and outcome-driven.
• Maintain roadmap boundaries (in/out of scope), translate approved initiatives into structured epics, and present preliminary estimates and investment analyses to secure stakeholder approval.
• Own conceptual solution design and user journeys, coordinating refinements and design reviews to keep decisions aligned with the core product vision.
• Write clear user stories and robust acceptance criteria that incorporate business value, technical constraints, and non-functional requirements (including security).
• Balance new feature delivery against technical debt and architectural needs, managing scope trade-offs while protecting essential non-functional requirements from delivery pressure.
• Ensure user stories are delivery-ready, accept or reject completed work against criteria, co-lead UAT with stakeholders, and lead product go/no-go readiness.
• Establish measurable metrics ahead of release and analyze post-launch data to surface insights and improvement opportunities for data-driven decision-making.
• Work closely with Technical Architecture, GPM, and SMEs across the lifecycle, document feature behavior and business rules, and capture post-release feedback to sustain product value.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience in product ownership, product management, business analysis, or a related role. (Candidates with more extensive experience may be considered for a Manager-level position)
• Proven track record of collaborating with business and technical teams to deliver digital products.
• Core technical and analytical skills, including product backlog and roadmap management; user stories and acceptance criteria; process and system analysis; product analytics and KPI monitoring; understanding of Agile, SDLC, system dependencies, and non-functional requirements.
• Expertise in shipping and logistics is preferred.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, collaboration, facilitation, ownership, and decision-making abilities.
• Knowledge of ERP systems is a strong plus.
