Job Description

Overview:

The job holder is responsible for the smooth running of Programmes, Research Studies, and enhancing the patient experience for the Child Development Unit (CDU), by working closely with internal (e.g. Specialist Outpatient Clinics) and external stakeholders (e.g. Ministry of Health, Early Childhood Development Agency).

Job Responsibilities:

  • 80%) Serve as the programme and operations lead for the Ministry of Health (MOH) Prevalence Research Study and the Development Support Learning Support (DSLS) Programme.
    • Drive effective and sustainable programme operations and administration (e.g., secretariat support, funding administration, recruitment, setup of workflows etc.) at a programmatic level.
    • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement workflows, analyse programme data and prepare claims for submission, and prepare data reports (e.g. patient numbers and study progress)
    • Plan and coordinate the clinical team's roster, supervise programme staff, manage patient check-ins and payments, as well as schedule and track appointments.
  • (20%) Continuous improvement: Drive process-related improvements to aid growth for the CDU (e.g. analyze patient's feedback to develop timely and effective strategies to improve service delivery and overall patient experience)
  • Cross coverage for the CDU Operations team.
  • Support for NUHS/ NUWoC related events.
  • Any other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in business and healthcare related disciplines.
  • At least 3 years of working experience, preferably in a healthcare setting and/or experience in partnerships, quality improvement and programme management.
  • Meticulous and eye for details, in driving programme and operational excellence.
  • Strong interpersonal, communications and change management skills (e.g. for stakeholder and staff engagement).
  • Ability to work both independently (day to day operations) and as a team (developmental and care integration).
  • Excellent IT skills in areas such as MS Office applications.
