Responsibilities:
- Plan, execute, and oversee detailed project schedules, budgets, and deliverables for precision engineering initiatives.
- Partner with NPI, manufacturing, and quality teams to align on project goals and outcomes.
- Track progress closely, identifying and resolving technical or logistical challenges promptly.
- Provide subject-matter expertise in precision engineering practices such as CNC machining, micro-fabrication, and metrology.
- Lead prototype development and assess design manufacturability.
- Conduct feasibility analyses and risk assessments for high-precision components and systems.
- Enforce strict quality standards and tolerance levels in all precision engineering projects.
- Manage validation, testing, and inspection activities for components and assemblies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Precision Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 3-5 years in program or project engineering within precision engineering or manufacturing.
- Practical exposure to CNC machining, CAD/CAM software, and precision measurement tools preferred.
- Proficiency in engineering tools such as SolidWorks, CATIA, or AutoCAD is an advantage.
- Demonstrated project management experience with tools like MS Project.
- Background in managing customer relations in industries like semiconductor, aerospace, medical devices, or analytical life sciences.
