We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Engineer to oversee the management and maintenance of Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) facilities within a Grade A commercial building. You will play a key role in ensuring optimal building performance through effective maintenance strategies, contractor supervision, and continuous improvement of systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support all aspects of facilities management services, including M&E operations of the building.
- Supervise and coordinate contractors in the planning and execution of corrective and preventive maintenance, system testing, and annual building shutdowns.
- Develop, implement, and review maintenance plans and operational processes to ensure reliability and efficiency.
- Oversee works carried out by service providers to minimize disruption to building operations.
- Prepare and submit regular performance and maintenance reports for internal stakeholders and clients.
- Assist in cost management, quotation review, and vendor price negotiations.
- Provide support in ad-hoc projects and other assigned facility initiatives.
Requirements
- Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management, or equivalent qualification.
- Certification as a Senior Fire Safety Manager will be an advantage.
- Relevant experience in building maintenance services, particularly with ACMV systems and chiller plants.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
