Coordinate M&E design with other disciplines (structural, architectural, civil) to ensure smooth integration.
Design and review mechanical and electrical systems (HVAC, fire protection, lighting, power, etc.) in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.
Prepare design calculations, drawings, and technical specifications for M&E systems
Able to assist client for Value Engineering
Conversant with Singapore building codes and regulations
Demonstrate effective communication and consultative skills
Provide guidance and support to project teams in the implementation of successful M&E practices.
Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures throughout the project.
Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and develop solutions to avoid delays or cost overruns.
Supervise and inspect the installation of M&E systems to ensure they are compliant with design specifications, safety standards, and regulations.
Conduct regular site visits and liaise with contractors to ensure quality control and timely execution of works.
Ensure that all M&E works are completed in line with safety and environmental regulations.
Oversee the commissioning and testing of M&E systems to ensure they are fully functional and meet designintent.
Prepare regular reports on M&E progress for internal stakeholders and clients.
Ensure that project documentation is complete and accurate, including as-built drawings, operation manuals,and maintenance schedules.
Preparation of Variation Orders to clients and valuation of Vendor's progress Claim.
Job Requirements:
Min Degree in Mechanicial, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering recongise by BCA
Min 8 years of relevant working experience in Interior Fitting Out M&E Works in Singapore
Knowledge on how to prepare M&E technical design, technical write-up, prepare tender specifications and presentation slide for tender interviews
MUST understand the process of tender preparation and submission
MUST have experience in project costing and estimating
MUST know BCA Green Mark Requirement
Highly self-motivated, good working attitude with high level of professionalism & integrity
