Senior / Engineer (Automation Design)

Responsibilities:

• Design mechanical components and automation systems using SolidWorks or Autodesk Inventor (3D CAD and 2D drafting).
• Source materials, mechanical components and suppliers for design projects.
• Perform assembly and detailed mechanical design for automation equipment.
• Coordinate project timelines, material procurement and delivery schedules.
• Work closely with the assembly team to support troubleshooting and resolve design issues.
• Prepare BOMs, project schedules, user manuals and training materials.
• Conduct user training and provide technical support.

Requirements:

• Diploma or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in mechanical design, automated equipment or automation systems.
• Proficient in SolidWorks or Autodesk Inventor for 3D modelling and 2D drafting.
• Good knowledge of mechanical components, sizing and sourcing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Senior candidates should have experience leading projects and coordinating project execution.
