Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Working day: Monday - Friday
Working Hour: 830am - 5:30pm
Salary range: $4000 - $6300 (depend on experience)
Location: Woodlands Ave (Nearest Mrt: Admiralty)

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Automation Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team focused on Mechanical Design of automation equipment for electronics industry such as Semi-con and Printed circuit board, and other customized factory automation systems.

Responsibilities:

Collaboration with Project Manager and customer to understand design requirements and specifications for the product.
Analyse project requirements and participate in concept generation.
Design high precision and high-tech automation equipment.
Selection of standard components such as sensor, pneumatic, motor, servo axis and robotics.
BOM preparation using SAP.
Coordinate with fabrication house and component suppliers.
Report project progress to Project Manager and superior.
Guide assembly technicians to build and test the equipment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including design, manufacturing, and quality assurance) to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Job Requirement:

Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Mechatronics or related field preferred.
Min 6 years of relevant experience in automation equipment design.
Knowledge and experience in factory automation is an advantage.
Experience in electrical, pneumatic, and sensor component selections.
Proficient in Solidworks 3D and EPDM software.
Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to machine safety and performance (e.g., ISO, IEC standards).
Familiarity with reliability engineering principles and techniques.
