Senior/DevOps Engineer (Permanent)

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and manage containerized applications

• Deploy, operate, and maintain Kubernetes clusters in cloud or on-prem environments

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable automated build, test, and deployment processes

• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure-as-Code tools

• Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability troubleshoot and resolve issues

• Collaborate with software engineers, SREs, and security teams to ensure smooth application delivery

• Implement best practices for security, scalability, and high availability

• Perform system upgrades, patches, and ongoing maintenance

• Document system architecture, processes, and operational procedures

Requirements (Must-Have):

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (education/cert considered too)

• Strong experience with containerization technologies (e.g. Docker)

• Experience managing CI/CD tools (e.g. GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)

• Solid understanding of Linux systems and shell scripting

• Experience with at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

• Knowledge of networking concepts (VPC, DNS, load balancing, firewalls)

• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)

Good to Have:

• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi)

• Knowledge of security best practices, secrets management, and IAM

• Experience with service meshes (e.g. Istio, Linkerd)

• Exposure to SRE or DevSecOps practices

Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

• Good communication and documentation skills
