Responsibilities:
Design, build, and manage containerized applications
Deploy, operate, and maintain Kubernetes clusters in cloud or on-prem environments
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable automated build, test, and deployment processes
Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure-as-Code tools
Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability troubleshoot and resolve issues
Collaborate with software engineers, SREs, and security teams to ensure smooth application delivery
Implement best practices for security, scalability, and high availability
Perform system upgrades, patches, and ongoing maintenance
Document system architecture, processes, and operational procedures
Requirements (Must-Have):
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (education/cert considered too)
Strong experience with containerization technologies (e.g. Docker)
Experience managing CI/CD tools (e.g. GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
Solid understanding of Linux systems and shell scripting
Experience with at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Knowledge of networking concepts (VPC, DNS, load balancing, firewalls)
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
Good to Have:
Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi)
Knowledge of security best practices, secrets management, and IAM
Experience with service meshes (e.g. Istio, Linkerd)
Exposure to SRE or DevSecOps practices
Soft Skills:
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Good communication and documentation skills
