Senior DevOps Engineer (Permanent Role)

We are seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to join our team and be a key player in automating, deploying, and securing our cloud-based applications and infrastructure. You will work with CI/CD pipelines, cloud services, containerization, and infrastructure as code (IaC), and partner closely with software development and IT operations teams to streamline workflows, optimize system performance, and ensure the reliability and security of our platforms.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable automated and reliable software deployments.

• Operate and enhance cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation.

• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.

• Enforce security best practices to ensure system security, compliance, and resilience.

• Proactively monitor system performance and resolve issues to maintain high availability.

• Automate routine operational tasks to increase efficiency and reduce manual intervention.

• Work closely with development, security, and IT operations teams to optimize delivery workflows.

• Set up and maintain logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog.

• Manage source code and version control using Git-based platforms such as GitHub or GitLab.

QUALITIES WE VALUE

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.

• At least 3 year of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineering roles.

• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Proficiency in scripting languages including Python, Bash, Shell, or Go.

• Strong experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.

• Experience with container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.

• Solid expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.

• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog.

• Understanding of networking, security best practices, and Linux systems.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED

• Certifications in AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, or DevOps-related fields.

• Experience with microservices architecture and serverless computing.

• Understanding of database management systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL databases).

• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
