Senior DevOps Engineer

Job Duties:

• Lead the design, implementation, and operation of DevOps and automation platforms across non-production and production environments.

• Define and drive automation strategy by collecting requirements and coordinating with Operations Leads to enable scalable automation solutions.

• Build, configure, upgrade, and manage Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) and GitLab, including GitLab Geo architecture and integrations.

• Design, develop, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation playbooks using Ansible, Terraform, and scripting languages.

• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to support automated build, test, and deployment processes.

• Operationalize automation use cases to improve productivity, consistency, and service delivery.

• Implement automated testing and validation in testing and production environments to ensure quality and reliability.

• Ensure version control, code quality, and compliance for automation and IaC artifacts using Git-based workflows.

• Operate and support DevOps and automation platforms in accordance with defined SLAs, including troubleshooting and incident resolution.

• Provide technical input for solution design, presales support, and integration with enterprise tools such as ITSM systems.

Job Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in DevOps and Infrastructure as Code development

• Strong hands-on experience in Ansible Automation Platform setup, configuration, and management

• Strong hands-on experience in Terraform (HCL) for infrastructure provisioning and automation

• Proven experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitLab

• Proficiency in one or more scripting languages such as Python, Ansible, PowerShell, or Bash.

• Experience with Linux/Unix and Windows system administration.

• Working knowledge of cloud DevOps environments and automation tools (advantageous).

• Experience with Git-based source control, versioning strategies, and code quality practices.

• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a passion for automation and continuous improvement.
