Role Summary:
The Senior Communications and PR Lead at EMURGO will play a pivotal role in shaping and elevating our brand narrative within the blockchain industry. This role focuses on three key skill set buckets: content narrative development, high-impact media relations, and executive communication management. The successful candidate will secure high-profile speaking opportunities, manage and prepare the C-level for engagements, and ensure our messaging is consistent, impactful, and aligned with our strategic objectives across EMURGO's diverse products and solutions stable coins, wallets, decentralized exchange, governance, partnership announcements, and investments. This position requires a seasoned professional with deep blockchain industry knowledge to drive EMURGO's reputation as a leader in the space.
Main Responsibilities:
- Content Development: Craft engaging and technically accurate content, including blog posts, whitepapers, and social media posts, to highlight EMURGO's innovations in blockchain technology.
- Thought Leadership: Produce authoritative articles and op-eds that position EMURGO as a leader in the blockchain space, targeting industry publications and platforms.
- C-level Speaking Engagements: Oversee all aspects of the C-level's speaking commitments, including scheduling, logistics, and coordination with event organizers to ensure flawless execution.
- Preparation and Coaching: Develop tailored talking points, presentations, and Q&A materials for compelling public appearances.
- Narrative Development: Create and maintain a cohesive, resonant narrative that aligns with EMURGO's mission and engages blockchain industry stakeholders, ensuring all communications reinforce our brand identity.
- Media Relations: Cultivate and maintain relationships with blockchain-focused media, journalists, and influencers to enhance EMURGO's visibility and secure earned media opportunities.
- Content Creation: Collaborate with marketing and content teams to produce high-quality press releases, thought leadership articles, and other PR materials that underscore EMURGO's blockchain expertise.
- Cross-Business Unit Communication: Develop and execute PR strategies that effectively communicate milestones, partnerships, and innovations across EMURGO's stablecoins, wallet, DEX, governance, and investment initiatives.
- Crisis Communication: Proactively manage and mitigate potential PR challenges, ensuring consistent messaging during sensitive situations.
Skill & Experience:
- Experience: Min 6 years of experience in communications, public relations, or a related field, with at least 3 years in the blockchain or cryptocurrency industry.
- Blockchain Expertise: Deep understanding of blockchain technology, decentralized finance (DeFi), stablecoins, wallets, and governance models to craft informed and credible narratives.
- Content Writing Skills: Proven ability to write compelling press releases, thought leadership pieces, and executive talking points tailored to blockchain audiences.
- Media Relations: Established network and experience engaging with blockchain-focused media, journalists, and influencers to secure high-impact coverage.
- Executive Communication: Demonstrated success in preparing C-suite executives for public speaking, media interviews, and high-stakes engagements.
