Job Description

What the role is

The Strategy & Planning Division is responsible for charting new strategies and approaches for Enterprise Singapore, driving alignment across organisational priorities, and responding to macroeconomic and geopolitical developments to support Singapore's economic growth.


What you will be working on

This role plays a key part in shaping and driving the organisation's medium- to long-term strategic direction, while ensuring strong corporate governance and performance management.

1. Strategy Development & Planning

  • Support the formulation and execution of medium- to long-term organisational strategies.

  • Drive strategic alignment across corporate priorities and initiatives.

2. Research & Analysis

  • Conduct research and analysis on global economic, macroeconomic, and geopolitical trends.

  • Assess implications of emerging trends on Singapore enterprises and organisational strategies.

  • Distil complex information into clear and actionable insights for decision-making.

3. Corporate Governance & Performance Management

  • Support key corporate functions including Board secretariat duties, performance monitoring, and enterprise risk management.

  • Contribute to strengthening governance frameworks and organisational accountability.

4. Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration

  • Work closely with internal teams, Ministries, and government agencies to drive strategic initiatives.

  • Influence and align stakeholders towards Enterprise Singapore's mission andobjectives.


What we are looking for

WhatYou'llBe Using and Applying

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in a planning-related role, preferably with exposure to economics, strategy development, or policy work.

  • Experience in research and analysis, with the ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations.

  • Strong critical thinking skills, with the ability to distil complex information into clear papers and presentations.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence presenting to senior management.

  • Demonstrated interest in public service and supporting the growth of Singapore enterprises.
