A global corporate and trust services provider is seeking a commercially driven Business Development professional to expand its Private Client & Trust Services business across APAC.
This role focuses on developing relationships with HNW/UHNW clients and intermediaries, and promoting trust structures, wealth structuring and succession planning solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and convert new business opportunities across APAC, focusing on private client and trust solutions
- Build strong relationships with HNW/UHNW clients, EAMs, private banks, family offices, law firms and insurance intermediaries
- Introduce clients to the firm's technical trust specialists to structure and implement appropriate trust solutions
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to deal closure
- Expand intermediary networks and generate new referrals through professional partners
- Stay abreast of cross-border wealth structuring, regulatory developments and private wealth trends
- Represent the firm at industry events, conferences and networking engagements
Requirement
- 5 7+ years of Business Development / Relationship Management experience
- Background in corporate services, trust companies, fiduciary services, private banking or wealth management
- Strong understanding of trusts, trust structures and cross-planning will also be considered
- Proven experience managing China / Greater China clients or intermediaries
- Established network with private banks, lawyers, EAMs, family offices or wealth advisers
- TEP qualification is advantageous
