Job Description

Role Overview

The Senior Business Development Manager will play a strategic role in driving sustained revenue growth and strengthening my client's market position within Singapore's corporate workplace and commercial interiors sector.

This is a senior, front-facing role responsible not only for originating and closing major opportunities, but also for deepening key client relationships, and influencing long-term business direction. Acting as a trusted advisor to clients and internal stakeholders alike.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the identification, development and conversion of high-value opportunities within corporate and commercial sectors.

  • Build and maintain senior-level relationships with corporate real estate leaders, C-suite stakeholders, asset managers, workplace consultants and project partners.

  • Own the full sales lifecycle from strategic prospecting and qualification through to commercial negotiation and contract execution.

  • Drive revenue performance against agreed targets, with accountability for pipeline health, forecasting accuracy and margin performance.

  • Develop sector-specific growth strategies in collaboration with the Sales Director and leadership team.

  • Position the company as a strategic partner rather than a transactional service provider.

  • Lead major tender submissions and pitch presentations, ensuring compelling commercial and design propositions.

  • Provide market intelligence, competitor analysis and client insight to inform broader business strategy.

  • Support and mentor junior business development team members where appropriate.

  • Represent the business at key industry events, forums and networking platforms to enhance brand visibility and influence.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Interior Design or a related discipline.

  • Minimum 5-8 years of business development experience within interior design, design & build, fit-out, construction or a closely related sector.

  • Demonstrated track record of securing and delivering significant project revenue within a project-based sales environment.

  • Established network within Singapore's commercial real estate community.

  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to structure and negotiate complex deals.

  • Strategic thinker with the confidence to engage at senior decision-maker level.

  • Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.

  • Self-directed, resilient and performance-driven, with the ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels.
