Senior Business Development Executive

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Senior Business Development Executive to manage and grow our dealer network in Singapore. This role combines account management, business development, sales planning, and dealer relationship management. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing assigned dealer accounts independently, driving sales growth, maintaining strong dealer relationships, and ensuring excellent customer support across all touchpoints. This is primarily an outdoor sales role requiring frequent dealer visits, business meetings, and on-site engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Account Management

  • Take full ownership of assigned dealer accounts and manage day-to-day account operations.
  • Handle dealer enquiries related to product information, ordering processes, technical support, and warranty claims.
  • Ensure timely resolution of customer and dealer issues while maintaining a high level of service satisfaction.
  • Build strong and long-term relationships with dealers and key stakeholders.

Business Development & Sales Growth

  • Drive sales performance and achieve assigned KPIs, revenue targets, and growth objectives.
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to expand market share within existing accounts.
  • Influence and guide dealers towards business initiatives, product adoption, and growth opportunities.
  • Conduct regular store visits, business reviews, and client meetings to understand dealer needs and market trends.
  • Develop and execute account development plans to maximize dealer performance.

Strategic Planning & Data Analysis

  • Analyze sales performance, market trends, and customer purchasing behavior to identify growth opportunities.
  • Utilize sales data and business insights to recommend strategic actions and influence dealer buying decisions.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, account reviews, and business performance reports.
  • Support management with actionable recommendations and market intelligence.

Problem Solving & Account Ownership

  • Act as the primary owner of assigned accounts and take accountability for account performance.
  • Proactively identify challenges and provide practical solutions to dealers and internal stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate initiative and independent decision-making when managing accounts.
  • Present well-thought-out recommendations instead of merely escalating issues.

CRM & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate customer records, sales activities, and pipeline management through CRM systems.
  • Utilize Salesforce (preferred) or other CRM platforms to track account activities and opportunities.
  • Ensure timely reporting of account performance and business development activities.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Account Management, Business Development, Sales, or related commercial roles.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing customer accounts.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong account management and business development mindset.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong problem-solving ability with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned responsibilities.

  • Ability to interpret sales data and translate insights into business growth strategies.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

Language Requirements

  • Proficient in both English and Chinese (spoken and written) to effectively communicate with dealers and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using Salesforce CRM or similar customer relationship management platforms.
  • Experience managing B2B dealer, distributor, or retail channel accounts. .
  • Familiarity with sales forecasting, business planning, and performance analysis.
